The sleek-designed cards offer new autograph and chase insert cards for 2024, including Pitch Black Pairings Dual Autographs and Depth of Darkness cards. Each hobby box retails for around $150 and contains one pack of four cards: two base, one refractor parallel and one autograph card. Each 2024 Topps Chrome Black case contains 12 hobby boxes.

My personal take: Topps Chrome Black are absolutely beautiful cards and make for great additions to any collection. However, buying a box of 2024 Topps Chrome Black can be feast or famine since there’s only one pack per box and just four cards in the pack. Every box contains one on-card autograph, but, like with everything collecting, it’s not guaranteed to be a banger. If you have some extra money to spend, it can be a fun and quick rip. But for those concerned about not getting top hits, it might be better to see what singles are selling for on eBay and social media.
