From Hulk Hogan To The Rock: Iconic WrestleMania Legends And Their Most Valuable Collectibles

The biggest WrestleMania of all-time is nearly upon us. WrestleMania 40 will take place over two nights in Philadelphia this weekend. Wrestling fans will be seeing their favorite WWE superstars like The Rock, Roman Reigns, Cody Rhodes, Seth Rollins, Becky Lynch, Bayley, Rhea Ripley, Bianca Belair and others compete in what’s sure to be classic matches that will be remembered forever. But legends before them helped to lay the groundwork to make WrestleMania what it is today.

HobbyListings has decided to look at the top-selling cards and memorabilia of superstars who became mythical figures at WrestleMania. To help determine the top-selling cards, HobbyListings has looked at the sold listings on 130Point.com, Goldin, PWCC Marketplace and Heritage Auctions. The cards listed below are single-wrestler cards and do not include multi-autograph cards.

Hulk Hogan

Hulkamania ran wild during WrestleManias in the 1980s. Hulk Hogan became a household name and helped make wrestling mainstream during his rise. During his career, Hogan took part in 11 WrestleManias, having legendary matches with Andre the Giant, Randy “Macho Man” Savage, The Ultimate Warrior and The Rock. One collector got their pythons around Hogan’s WWF event-worn, signed and inscribed yellow wrestling boots for $66,000 in July 2023 at Goldin.

“Stone Cold” Steve Austin

“The Rattlesnake” became a made man at WrestleMania 13 in his No Disqualification Submission match against Bret Hart. In what’s been called one of the greatest wrestling matches of all-time, “Stone Cold” became a fan favorite afterwards. He would go onto having classic WrestleMania matches with Shawn Michaels and The Rock. Austin’s 2022 Panini Prizm WWE Black 1/1 sold for $21,000 in July 2023 at Goldin.

“Macho Man” Randy Savage

Ohhhhhh yeahhhhhhhhh! “Macho Man” Randy Savage was one of the greatest wrestlers of all-time, having WrestleMania classics with Ricky “The Dragon” Steamboat, Hulk Hogan, Ric Flair and The Ultimate Warrior. One lucky collector snapped into this gorgeous match-worn robe from a 1988 Saturday Night Main Event show for $27,600 in August 2022 at Heritage Auctions.

Andre the Giant

The “Eighth Wonder of the World” was a global sensation. His most memorable match was with Hulk Hogan for the WWF Heavyweight Championship at WrestleMania III, which really put the show on the map. Andre’s 1982 Wrestling All Stars Series A BGS 9.5 card sold for $23,400 in October 2023 at PWCC Marketplace.

Bret “The Hitman” Hart

“The Excellence of Execution” had some legendary matches at WrestleMania against “Stone Cold” Steve Austin, Shawn Michaels and his brother, Owen Hart. He also became a “good guy” for the first time when he turned on Bad News Brown following a Battle Royal at WrestleMania IV. However, he will always be remembered for “The Montreal Screwjob” when he lost the WWF Heavyweight Championship to Michaels at Survivor Series in 1997 in his home country of Canada. One collector put the sharpshooter on other bidders to score Bret Hart’s 1987 Topps WWF PSA 10 rookie card for $9,761 in December 2023 at Goldin.

“Mr. WrestleMania” was the epitome of “The Showcase of the Immortals.” Shawn Michaels took part in 16 WrestleManias, having legendary matches with The Undertaker, Kurt Angle, Chris Jericho, John Cena, Ric Flair, Razor Ramon and Bret Hart. One collector superkicked their way to Michaels’ 2022 Panini Prizm WWE Black 1/1 for $8,040 in May 2023 at Goldin.

Do you smell what The Rock is cooking? “The Final Boss” holds the record for most expensive wrestling card of all-time when his 2022 Panini Prizm WWE Black 1/1 sold for $126,000 at PWCC Marketplace in April 2023. He’s had memorable matches against “Stone Cold” Steve Austin, John Cena and Hulk Hogan at WrestleMania.

The Undertaker

You can’t talk about WrestleMania without The Undertaker. “The Dead Man” has an astounding 25-2 record at WrestleMania, including winning his first 21 matches before shockingly losing to Brock Lesnar at WrestleMania 30. One collector tombstoned other bidders to get The Undertaker’s 2023 Revolution WWE KABOOM! PSA 10 for $721.

“The Cerebral Assassin” has taken part in 23 WrestleManias, having legendary matches against The Undertaker, John Cena, Batista and Randy Orton. One lucky collector pedigreed the competition to score Hunter’s 2002 Fleer All Access Off the Mat Autograph Relic card for $4,500.
