Top 5 Best John Cena Cards As WWE Legend Prepares To Retire In 2025

One of the greatest professional wrestlers of all-time will be calling it quits in 2025. John Cena announced at WWE’s Money in the Bank on Saturday that he will be retiring from the squared circle next year. Cena will be hanging up the jorts for good after a legendary 23-year-run at WWE.

Cena will be 48 years old at the time of his last match.

During Cena’s tenure, the 16-time world champion had iconic rivalries against greats like C.M. Punk, Randy Orton, Edge, Kurt Angle, A.J. Styles, and The Rock, among others. He is also currently tied with Ric Flair for most world title reigns. Could we see one more championship run from Cena to break the record, maybe culminating at WrestleMania 41 in Las Vegas?

For years, Cena was a controversial figure in WWE. Fans felt he was constantly being put over because of how popular he was with children and how well his merchandise sold with the younger crowd. Hardcore fans would constantly taunt, jeer and heckle Cena whenever he hit the ring. However, it started to change around the time he became a part-timer in 2018. Now, over the past several years, whenever Cena’s music hits, he gets the biggest pop of the night.

Before you can’t see Cena in the ring any longer, HobbyListings is taking a look at the top five most expensive cards ever of the Doctor of Thuganomics. HobbyListings used data from 130Point.com to put the list together.
