High Bidder Shells Out Nearly $5,000 For Snoop Dogg-Smoked Blunt At Auction

A collector dropped it like it’s hot for a one-of-a-kind piece of Snoop Dogg memorabilia. A blunt that Snoop smoked sold for $4,765 in an auction at The Realest.

There were 61 bids from 24 bidders before the final gavel hammered. The blunt was one of over 130 collectibles of the hip-hop legend that was auctioned by The Realest.

The auction house describes the blunt as a one-of-one. However, the high bidder won’t be able to smoke it themselves as it was “being sold as a novelty with no real consumable use.”

“Preserved in resin in Snoop’s personal ashtray to display for eternity, this is an auction piece like no other. This is the first ever authenticated Snoop Dogg roach, making it one of the most unique pieces of memorabilia ever created. The blunt was smoked … in front of a TRUeST Authenticator on site who then performed the Realest’s proprietary authentication process before any secondary high kicked in. The Authenticator collected, covertly marked, documented, and preserved both the roach and ashtray utilizing The Realest’s patent-pending, industry-leading security protocols ensuring authenticity and sealed with a Gold OVD hologram,” The Realest writes in the description lot.

The blunt was one of dozens of items that was offered as part of Tha Shiznit: The Snoop Dogg Memorabilia Auction. Other items that sold included:

  • Death Row Records Chain In Snoop Dogg-Signed Box ($6,500)
  • ‘”Doggystyle”‘ Gold Plaque From The Canadian Recording Industry Association ($3,752)
  • Snoop Dogg Handwritten Tour Setlist ($1,000)
  • Wrestlemania-Worn Outfit 2023 ($5,200)
  • “Lollipop” featuring Jay Z Recording Reel (Final Mixes Pt. 1) ($2,000)
  • Jeff Hamilton Lakers 2001 Championship Leather Jacket ($5,500)

“The items in this collection are a tangible reminder of Snoop’s impact on the world, from original handwritten lyric sheets and stage worn clothing items to one-of-one studio masters that have never before become available to collectors,” notes The Realest.

The auction’s first 420 bidders even received a free limited-edition original Snoop Dogg collectible.
