Caitlin Clark Inks Multiyear Endorsement Deal With Wilson, To Launch Signature Basketball Collection

Caitlin Clark has another endorsement deal to add to her list. The Indiana Fever rookie has inked a multiyear deal with Wilson Sporting Goods, with the company launching Tuesday three limited-edition basketballs that are part of the Caitlin Clark Collector’s Edition Debut Series.

The white-and-gold WNBA basketballs are titled “Threes Up,” “Record Breaker,” and “Crowd Maestro” to commemorate Clark’s collegiate career with the Iowa Hawkeyes. The basketballs have personalized laser engraving celebrating her iconic moments. Wilson is offering a drawing for fans to purchase one of the limited-edition basketballs that retail at $49.95. The drawing closes May 27 at 11 p.m. ET and selected orders will be notified May 28.

Terms of the deal were not disclosed. Boardroom reports it’s the first time since Wilson teamed with Michael Jordan that the sporting goods company is releasing a signature basketball collection.

Wilson has been with me across some of the most pivotal moments in my career so far, and I couldn’t be more excited to continue driving basketball forward alongside them,” says Clark. “It feels surreal to have my own basketball collection, and to affect what that means for future generations of athletes.”

As part of her role, Clark will provide input and feedback on various Wilson basketball products, contributing to the continuous improvement of the game at all levels, from youth to professional. Wilson will release collections throughout 2024 that pay homage to Clark’s achievements, and they will collaborate with her to creatively direct her first-ever signature basketball line, set to debut later this year.

“Wilson is made to celebrate the most iconic moments in sport, and we have always aligned ourselves with trailblazers who break boundaries and write their own story,” says Amanda Lamb, head of global brand at Wilson. “Caitlin Clark is not just a record-setting athlete, but a cultural icon who has had a profound impact on the game. We couldn’t be prouder to join forces with her to continue innovating basketball both on and off the court.”

Clark, the first overall pick by the Fever in last month’s WNBA Draft, set numerous records during her time at Iowa, including becoming the the NCAA Division I all-time leading scorer. She has also scored endorsement deals with Nike and Panini, among others.
