Panini Unveils Exclusive Caitlin Clark Collection Highlighting Iconic College Career

Panini is releasing a new collection centering around Indiana Fever rookie phenom Caitlin Clark. The Caitlin Clark Collection will feature cards highlighting iconic moments from her illustrious college career with the Iowa Hawkeyes.

Clark, who was the No. 1 overall pick in the 2024 WNBA Draft, worked hand-in-hand with Panini to help create the 15-card Highlights set. The collection will have inserts like College Contenders, Reigning 3’s, Crunch Time, School Colors, Campus Legends, Prizm Fearless and Mosaic Razzle Dazzle. Collectors will also be able to chase incredibly rare On-Campus inserts and autographs.

“To be able to have my own trading card set that celebrates my time at Iowa and those special moments as a kid when I fell in love with the game of basketball is special,” Clark said in a statement to On3 Her. “Knowing that basketball fans everywhere, especially young girls and boys, will be able to collect these cards is humbling.”

The Caitlin Clark Blaster Box retails for $29.99 and contains six packs per box and four cards per pack. It’s currently available on Target.com. Boxes will also be available on Panini, Walmart and Hy-Vee websites.

“The launch of the Caitlin Clark Collection is another milestone for Panini and celebrates an athlete who has had a profound impact on and off the basketball court,” says Jason Howarth, senior vice president of marketing and athlete relations for Panini America, to On3 Her. “We think that fans will love the cards in this collection, and as she continues in her professional career, we look forward to expanding our offerings featuring Caitlin.”

Clark is widely popular in the collecting community. In May, her 2024 Panini Instant WNBA Blue Viper 1/1 Autograph rookie card sold for $24,921.60 during a Dutch auction — making it the most expensive WNBA trading card ever. Not to be outdone, Clark’s 2024 Instant WNBA Draft Night Blue Viper 1/1 Autograph rookie card netted $10,000 within seconds after being posted on Panini’s website in April.

Clark also holds the record for the most expensive women’s basketball card of all-time. Her 2022 Bowman University Superfractor 1/1 autograph scored $78,000 during an auction through PWCC Marketplace in January.

Clark inked an exclusive deal with Panini prior to entering the WNBA. It was the first exclusive partnership Panini had with a female athlete that included trading cards and autographed memorabilia. Sportico reports Clark will make more than $1 million in the first year of the deal. However, future payments will be based on the amount of product Panini creates.

In her first 20 professional games, Clark is averaging 16.2 points, 6.9 assists and 5.7 rebounds per game for the 8-12 Fever.
