Bronny James’ Los Angeles Lakers Jersey Becomes Top-Seller Days After 2024 NBA Draft

A second-round pick from the 2024 NBA Draft has one of the top-selling jerseys. Bronny James, the Los Angeles Lakers’ 55th overall selection and son of LeBron James, is the No. 1-selling jersey in the Fanatics’ Lakers team store. Bronny also ranks third in the NBA’s team store, ahead of his dad and Michael Jordan, and is second on the Lakers’ team site.

Bronny’s No. 9 Fanatics Gold 2024 NBA Draft Fast Break costs $79.99 on all three websites. A youth jersey is also available for $59.99.

It was widely known the Lakers were going to take Bronny in the second round. LeBron James has consistently said that he always wanted to play on the same team as his son before his playing career is over and now he will have his chance. Even though James opted out of his contract two days after the Lakers drafted his son and is currently a free agent, it’s expected he will re-sign with the gold and purple. It’s been reported that James even reached out to Klay Thompson the first day of free agency to convince him to come to the Lakers.

Bronny, a 19-year-old guard, played 25 games in his only season at USC, averaging around five points and two assists a game. Last July, he suffered a cardiac arrest during a basketball workout at USC. Bronny ended up being diagnosed with a congenital heart defect that wasn’t detected until after the incident.

Bronny was cleared to play in games beginning last December. Prior to his health scare, Bronny was a projected top-ten pick in the 2024 draft.

Bronny’s first professional basketball card is also available. Topps Now has his rookie cards available for $8.99 each until 5 p.m. ET on July 1. Bronny’s Topps Now autograph rookie cards numbered /99 or less sold out instantly. They were priced at $249.99.
