Bronny James’ First Pro Basketball Card, Lakers Jersey Available As Topps Now Auto Sells Out

Bronny James’ first professional basketball card and jersey are now available to the public. On Friday, Fanatics released Bronny’s Topps Now rookie card and his Los Angeles Lakers No. 9 jersey with James Jr. on the back. And, of course, his Topps Now autograph card sold out instantly.

The Lakers selected LeBron James’ son 55th overall in the second round of the 2024 NBA Draft on Thursday.

Bronny will wearing No. 9 when he debuts with the Lakers. Fanatics is offering his home gold NBA Draft Fast Break player jersey for $79.99 on its website. A youth jersey is available as well for $59.99.

Bronny also has Topps Now autograph rookie cards for $249.99, but they sold out within minutes. The only player whose Topps Now auto rookie card that the sports collectibles company was selling for more was Zaccharie Risacher — the No. 1 overall pick of the Atlanta Hawks. Autograph card parallels include:

The 19-year-old guard played 25 games in his only season at USC, averaging around five points and two assists a game. Bronny came back to action in December 2023, five months after suffering a cardiac arrest during a basketball workout that July. He ended up being diagnosed with a congenital heart defect that wasn’t detected until the incident.

Prior to his health scare, Bronny was a projected top-ten pick in the 2024 draft.

It remains to be seen how much Bronny will play this season, but Lakers games will be must-watch television when father and son take the court together.
