2024 NBA Draft: Where You Can Find First Rookie Cards Of Zaccharie Risacher, Alex Sarr & More!

Lives were changed forever during the first round of the 2024 NBA Draft on Wednesday night. There wasn’t much surprise at the top of the draft when two Frenchmen — Zaccharie Risacher and Alex Sarr — went one-two to the Atlanta Hawks and Washington Wizards, respectively. Overall, there were three players from France selected in the first six picks when the Charlotte Hornets took Tidjane Salaun sixth.

The Connecticut Huskies, the reigning men’s national champions, had two players taken in the top ten in Stephon Castle and Donovan Clingan. Castle went fourth to the San Antonio Spurs and the Trail Blazers selected Clingan at No. 7.

The first surprise of the night came when the Spurs took Rob Dillingham eighth and reportedly traded him to the Minnesota Timberwolves, a team fresh off a Western Conference Finals appearance. The second surprise came the very next pick when the Memphis Grizzlies took Zach Edey, the back-to-back Associated Press Men’s Player of the Year out of Purdue. It was debated where Edey would land and the 7-foot-4 center ended up in the top ten.

Analysts have called this one of the weaker draft classes we have seen recently, but time will obviously tell. We will soon see which rookies rise to the top, which ones plummet, and which ones were diamonds in the rough. And now, collectors are already able to buy some of the top draft picks of the first round. Find out below where to find these new rookies.
